Pistachio Wrap, unlike other baklava varieties, is extremely light because it is prepared with less syrup. In addition to its lightness, it gives a feeling of intense saturation because it contains peanuts.
Making the pistachio wrap is quite different from other types of baklava. While classical baklavas are prepared with an average of forty layers of phyllo dough, it is made with a thin baklava phyllo to wrap the pistachios with pistachios.
